Individual The result was heavily influenced by the dressage phase with the winner, USA's David O'Connor leading all the way, having posted a record dressage mark of just 29 penalties.
Their experience across country and in the showjumping arena saw them home in front of Australian hero Andrew Hoy, this time riding Swizzle In, abd former double Olympic Champion Mark Todd - a perfect way for the great New Zealander to end his unique career.
